Description : বায়েরের ভুতিহাঁস কাঠ বাদামি রঙের হাঁস।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৪৬ সেমি. ও ডানা প্রায় ২২ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) প্রজনন মৌসুমে পুরুষ পাখির মাথা চকচকে কালো এবং গলায় সবুজ রঙের উপস্থিতি দেখা যায়। এর ঠোঁট খানিকটা নীল আর ঠোঁটের শীর্ষ প্রান্ত কালো।
