Description : সাদা গাল ওয়ালা ছোট পাখি। (পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখি লম্বায় প্রায় ২৮ সেমি. ও ওজন ২৫৫ গ্রাম) । প্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক পাখির কপাল ধূসর এবং পুরো পিঠ কালো দাগসহ হাল্কা বাদামি। এটি প্রাথমিক এবং গৌণ চিরহরিৎ বনে ঘন গাছপালার মধ্যে বসবাস করতে দেখা যায। এটি কখনও কখনও বাঁশ, তৃণভূমি এবং চাষের জমির সংলগ্ন এলাকায় থাকে।
