Description : লালগলা চাহা ছোট, ধূসর উপকূলীয় অঞ্চলের পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ১৫ সেমি. ওজন ২৫ গ্রাম, ডানা ১০ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে)পাখিটির মাথা আর বুক গ্রীষ্মের সময় লালচে- বাদামি রঙের হয়, শীতকালে দেহের উপরের অংশ ধূসর-বাদামি আর নিচের দিকে সাদা রঙের হয়। এদের সুপারসিলিয়াম (চোখের ভ্রু) সাদা হয়, বুকের পার্শ্বদেশে ধূসর অংশ থাকে। এরা পোকামাকড়, লার্ভা, ক্ষুদ্র অমেরুদণ্ডী প্রাণী খেয়ে থাকে।
