Description : পুইয়া বালিচাটা সরু দেহের মাছ। এদের মাথা চাপা। এদের ছোট এবং অর্ধবৃত্তাকার মুখ উপস্থিত যা মাংসল ঠোঁট দ্বারা আবৃত থাকে। এদের লেজ সংকুচিত। এদের তুন্ড ভোঁতা। দেহে ৩ জোড়া বার্বেল উপস্থিত যার মধ্যে ২ জোড়া রোস্ট্রাল এবং ১ জোড়া ম্যাক্সিলারি।
