Description : লাল-গলা ডুবুরি গাঢ় ধুসর রঙের জলচর পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৪৫ সেমি. ওজন প্রায় ১২০০ গ্রাম, ডানা প্রায় ৭৫ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) পাখিটির পায়ের রঙ জলপাই সবুজ। প্রজননকাল এপ্রিল-অগাস্ট। এরা অগভীর পানিতে ডুব দেয়, খাদ্য হিসেবে জলজ আথ্রপোড, জলজ পোকা, ফড়িং এর লার্ভা খেয়ে থাকে।
