Description : মলা পুটি মাছের শরীর লম্বাটে আর এদের উপরের চোয়াল কিছুটা লম্বা হয়।এদের চোখ বড় আর মাঝে মধ্যে এক জোড়া বারবেল দেখতে পাওয়া যায়।শরীর স্বচ্ছ যার পার্শ্বদেশে হালকা সবুজাভ এবং রূপালী চওড়া রেখা আছে।পৃষ্ঠ পাখনার সামনের রশ্মির গোড়ায় একটি কালো চিহ্ন আর পুচ্ছ পাখনার পাশে একটি কালো দাগ দেখা যায়।
