Description : লালঘাড় পেঙ্গা একটি মাঝারি-বড় আকারের গাঢ় জলপাই বাদামি রঙয়ের পরিযায়ী পাখি যার গলার দুইপাশে লালচে পট্টি রয়েছে।এরা লম্বায় প্রায় ২৩সেমি,ওজনে ৬৫গ্রাম,পাখা ১০সেমি,ঠোট ২.৪ সেমি,টারসাস ৩.৬ সেমি,লেজ ১০.৫ সেমি।প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক পাখির পৃষ্ঠ ,লেজ সরল জলপাই বাদামি সাথে গাঢ় ধূসর ঝুটি।এর কপাল,কানের দুইপাশ,মুখ,গাল,গলা থেকে বুকের ওপরের অংশ কালো সাথে গলার দুইপাশ লালচে বাদামি পট্টিযুক্ত।লালচে পেটের মধ্যভাগ,পায়ু ছাড়া বাকি অঙ্কীয়ভাগ ধূসর বাদামি।এর চোখের পাতা সিঁদুরে লাল্বা বাদামি এবং চোখের চারপাশ হলুদ,ঠোট,পা,পায়ের পাতা ,নখর গাঢ় কালচে বাদামি।পুরুষ ও স্ত্রী পাখি দেখতে একই রকম। এরা মার্চ আগস্ট মাসে প্রজনন করে।এরা মূলত পোকা ,শামুক,বীজ ও আঙুর খেয়ে থাকে।
