Description : খাটো-আঙ্গুল সাপঈগল মাঝারি আকারের ধূসর প্যাঁচা। পাখিটির মাথা বড় গোলাকার।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৬৫ সেমি, ডানা ৫২ সেমি পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) পুরুষ পাখির চেয়ে স্ত্রী পাখি আকারে বড় হয়। পাখিটির লেজের নিচের দিকে তিন থেকে চারটি ব্যান্ড সদৃশ অংশ থাকে। এরা সাপ, ব্যাঙ, গিরগিটি, বড় পোকামাকড়, ইঁদুর ও পাখি ধরে খায়।
