Description : বাইলনের গুরগুরি ছোট ধূসর-বাদামি জলাভূমির ছোট ডানার পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ১৮সেমি., ওজন ৪০গ্রাম, ডানা প্রায় ৮.৫ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে)এদের চোখের আইরিশ লাল, ঠোঁট সবুজ রঙের ও ধারালো তবে পা ও পায়ের আঙ্গুলগুলো হলদে-সবুজ। এরা প্রধানত জলজ গাছের বীজ খায়, এছাড়া পোকামাকড়, শামুক খায়।
