Description : বড়ধলা গগনবেড় বড় আকারের সাদা জলজপাখি। পাখিটির ঠোঁট বড় থলেযুক্ত, ঠোঁট গোলাপি রঙের আর চোখের চারপাশের ত্বক গোলাপি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ১৮৩ সেমি., ওজন ১১কেজি, ডানা ৭০সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে)নিম্ন চোয়াল থেকে হলুদ রঙের থলে ঝুলে থাকে। এরা মাছ, ক্রাশটাসিয়ান শ্রেনির প্রাণী খেয়ে থাকে।
